Aizawl, April 18: Mr. Thangminlien Zou @ Bobon Zougene recently received the 21st Lelte Award 2012 at a grand function held in Aizawl city. He received the award for the Zou category as a promising singer with the song – Zogal (Zo Rebellion). He rocked thousands of people gathering at the function with the song “Ka thang e, ka Zogal saat” (I am proud of the war that our forefathers fought, i.e. Zogal). While receiving the coveted award, Mr. Bobon delivered a short speech on what is all about Zogal and its impacts on the Zo people. He ended his speech with the line “Be proud to be Zou” and the venue was shaked with the roar of the thousand voices. He is the 2nd to received this award from the Zou community next to TT Lal.
