From Zero Ibobi to Hero Ibobi: What a Privilege!

We all know, Oh! not only the Manipuris but also people from outside the state of Manipur knew that the Chief Minister of Manipur, Mr. Okram Ibobi Singh was at the zero level before the Mr. Th. Muivah plans to visit his ancestral villege i.e. Somdal in Ukhrul District of Manipur.
Until recently, Manipur witnesses burning of Chief Minister’s effigy, demonstrations against congress led government, bandhs anainst fake encounters, general strikes agianst non-payment of salaries, pen down strkies against non adoption of the priviledge for the state employess and whats not? The Chief Minister was totally Zero, his head must be boiling with loads of demands, lack of governance and financial shortages.
The proposed visit of Somdal village by Muivah inturn has become a blessing in disguish for the state chief minister in particular and and congress led government which always faces some kind or the other demonstrations in day to day life of the state. It may not be wise to say a blessing in disguise, but it is somehow true to the condition of the state government. Ibobi government ragain the trust of the people, the people whose voices echoes in different directions now flows with the voice of the government.
The Chief Minister was summoned to New Delhi in the first week of May and asked to let Muivah visit his birthplace. A group of ministers led by P Chidambaram, Pranab Mukherjee and AK Antony met him and tried convincing him to let Muivah visit the State, but the plea was turned down flatly by Singh. Thus, he become a Hero from this point in his state.
No more complain: Do you think Manipur is completely sufficient in all kinds of commodities, daily needs, foods or petrol? No no no no, no way. People are starving, petrol pumps has become dry land, prices of goods and FMCG are rocketting to its maximum high, life saving medicines run dry. But, there is no more demonstrations, no one is complaining, no more strikes, no more rally against the government. This is the outcome of a firm stand by the now Hero Ibobi against the plea made by the centre government.
Now, the then Zero Ibobi has become Hero Ibobi. Long Live the Unity of Manipuri.
Let the multiple kingdoms in Churachandpur District of Manipur learn how to protect the integrity of the so called Zogam, Kukiland, Homeland, Simgam, Zougam or Hmarram from this development.

Thats true, Zero to Hero…….. in order to gain the trust of the state people, Ibobi and his cabinets stood fast to their decisions, i can imagine he must be crying deep inside, because the centre govt is going to turn deft to the plea one day, he disapointed the centre govt for banning Muivah.

Well said,’Zero to Hero’. However, words like ‘Zero to Hero’ exist in Fancy World & Movie World only(hollywd, bollywd), whatever, it is very much Muivah’s unintentional blessing in Ibobi’s disguise. As such it is a high time and a good chance for Mr. Ibobi to wake up/stay awake and keep up his hero status to his people learning that Muivah’s (charity) web/screen nurturing his fake image wouldn’t be sealing/protecting him long.

This incident is indeed the awakening call for the govt of manipur, especially ibobi and friends. he actually regain his tarnished image in his own state. awake ibo.
O.Ibobi’s stand in this regard (Muivah’s homecoming visit) is simply a political stunt. We can say, he’s wise enough to uphold his status whenever his integrity has been trampled upon….

He will always be a zero to me. Well the zero side of him will always topple the hero side of him, so in all fairness he is not a hero.
For God sake he needs to starts paying state employees already. How long has it been since they received there salary or aerial (don’t quite know how it’s spell). The current situation in Manipur will only push this back further. I was wondering how much state money has been spent on airlifting commodities? Am sure there are expenditures and am not saying it’s a bad thing to airlift items at times like this.
Manipur would never have been in this situation if the people of the valley (oh whatever!) had not been ignorant. Let me point back my finger at the government. If the government of Manipur was indeed bothered about the development of the state it would have paid attention to various route that could connect Manipur, am referring to the 3 national highway connecting Manipur. Instead he ignored both NH 150 and 53. Had this highway been developed as it should it would have positively effected the state.
Manipur i believe would also be the number one state to under utilize funds. Instead the political leaders buy themselves all those expensive stuffs. Don’t know if this is true but i did hear rumors about Ibobi owning an international cruise-line. He also has this SUV that cost over one crore for his ride in Delhi. It’s so apparent now that he will be elected again when the next election happens since what he did this time has well almost propelled him to the status of a hero, at least among the meeteis.
He also is not hero for it is during his reign that corruption in the state has spiraled upward and it is during his reign that terrorism attained a foothold in almost all aspects of life in the state.
For the time being, he is a Hero with a deficit budget, a hole in his govt pocket. Arrear was promised by next year june, that means another general strike on next year june. Ibobi your future is blinking.
The truth is, he become a BIGGER ZERO IBOBI. Simply to save his Chair, he decided to militarised the Naga areas, killed innocent people, and created a wider devide between the Naga and the Meitei. Share territorial unification slogan will be meaningless unless he wind the hearts and mind of the people; the events slowly ebbed towards the inevitability of dividing Manipur. The immature reactions of the plain people united the Nagas like never before and makes Muivah a HERO.
If his actions generate irreparable divide between the Naga and the Meitei, can we called him a HERO? Am afraid, the Meitei blindly follow him until the state fall into a bottomless pit. Thenafter, the younger generation will cures him for his actions, but Nagas may celebrate his reactions(they should be the happiest people, give thanks to God and Ibobi for assisting them in their strive for Unity today which could be precursor to their dreams of Naga UNIFICATION)
Wake up ZERO Ibobi!!!
