Can we identify these nations?

When God picked symbols to represent nations, He didn’t pick them arbitrarily, nor did He choose symbols having no significance. Rather, He chose symbols that would be meaningful to the people who would live at the time of the prophecy’s fulfillment. Let’s examine the description of each symbol carefully.

THE LION

Daniel 7:4, “The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.” Great Britain’s official animal symbol is the lion. In Webster’s Third New International Dictionary under “lion”, it states that the lion is the symbol of the country, Great Britain. On Trafalgar Square at the centre of London, four huge lions look toward the north, the south, the east and the west. It is common to see Britain referred to as the lion in news articles and political caricatures.

THE BEAR

Daniel 7:5, “And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.” It is common knowledge that the symbol of Russia is the bear. On the covers of Time Magazine on October 27, 1980 and on May 21, 1984, a picture of a bear was used to represent the national of Russia. On the July 4-10, 2009 edition of the Economist Magazine, a bear was used on the front cover to symbolize Russia. This prophecy, written 2, 500 years ago, is unerringly being fulfilled now! An article appearing in the Indianapolis Star on January 4, 1980, was entitled, “After The British Lion, The Russian Bear.” It is absolutely amazing to see symbols, chosen by God ever since 2,500 years ago to represent nations that would be on earth at the time of His Second Coming, being used by major secular news media to symbolize those nations today!

THE EAGLE

Let’s take one more look at the description of the lion in Daniel 7:4. Not only is there a major nation on earth today whose recognized symbol is the lion, but there is also a major nation whose symbol is the eagle. All of us are very familiar with the bald eagle as the national symbol of the United States of America (USA). We need only to look on the backside of the United States one-dollar bill. There you will see the great seal of the USA – the eagle. On the front cover of Time Magazine, October 27, 1980, an eagle was used to represent the United States. If this weren’t incredible enough, notice that the eagle’s wings were depicted as growing out of the lion. Where did the United States of America come from? We came out of our mother country – Great Britain (the lion).

Remember, the Daniel 7 prophecy was written in 550 BC, 2,374 years before the birth of the USA in 1776. This prophecy and its incredibly accurate fulfillment can only be described as supernatural! Still, this is not at all. Daniel said that he watched until the wings were plucked. He actually saw the breaking away of America from Great Britain and its Declaration of Independence. Then he said that it was made to stand upon the feet of a man and a man’s heart was given to it. America’s other national symbol is Uncle Sam. Every part of this prophecy has come to pass, down to the very last detail. Absolutely astounding! Infinitely supernatural indeed! Before Great Britain, the United States, or Russia ever existed, Almighty God prophesied through Daniel that these nations would be on earth at the time of His second coming. It’s interesting that these first three nations specifically mentioned by God are three of the five permanent members on the UN Security Council. In order to investigate the prophetic “future” of the United States, we need to understand the rest of the nations foretold in the Daniel 7 prophecy.

THE LEOPARD

Daniel 7:6, “After this, I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.” It was said the leopard that “…dominion was given to it”. Which nation, in the last 150 years, has had dominion in world affairs? It can’t be the United States because she is the eagle. This can’t refer to Russia, on account of she’s the bear. There is a nations, which has been the aggression in the last three major wars on earth – the Franco-German War of 1870, World War I, and World War II respectively. That nation is Germany.

Furthermore, Germany has been the dominant force in Europe ever since the founding of the Holy Roman Empire over 1,000 years ago. Germany was forced to rebuild after WW II during which she had been almost totally destroyed. Today, Germany is once again dominating Europe. The European Union (EU) has become the world’s number one economic power, and Germany is by far the strongest country amongst the nations of the European Union. Only an act of God prevented Germany from conquering the world under Adolph Hitler’s despotic leadership. The German army had the Allied armies trapped by a pincer movement against the eighteen-mile-wide English Channel. The German blitzkrieg attact was grinding the Allied forces into mincemeat. Within three days the Allies would have been forced to sue for peace on Hitler’s terms. However, on the brink of a great victory, Hitler feared that he was falling into a trap because it was all happening so easily. He ordered his fighting armies to a short pause, pulling his mighty generals back to command headquarters for reassessment. During this delayed, the Allied forces strengthened their defenses, and, by mobilizing every available boat in Great Britain and France, they were able to evacuate Allied soldiers who would live to fight another day.

When the operation began, the strategy counted on evacuating only about 45,000 men in the two days alloted for the plan. But because of Hitler’s unexpected reassessment order, the Allies were able to rescue 338,226 troops. They were aided by bad weather, which kept the German air forces on the ground during much of the operation. When the Allied troops were finally forced to surrender, only about 40,000 Allied soldiers were captured. It is no wonder that this decisive turn of events is known as the “Miracle of Dunkirk!” (William L. Shirer, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, Greenwich: Fawcett Books, 1960,pp. 968-970).

Notice in Daniel 7:6 that the leopard had “four heads”. The other three beasts (nations) of Daniel 7 had only one head each. In Bible prophecy a beast invariably represents a nation along with its ruler. Multiple heads on a beast represent the number of times that particular nation will rise and fall. Thus the four heads of the leopard spoken of in Daniel 7:6 represent Germany’s First Reich, Second Reich, Third Reich (Adolf Hitler’s iron-gripped regime), and the Fourth Reich, which is now rising. (The word reich means kingdom or empire).

A prominent United States political boffins has referred to the present restoration of power to West Germany as the Fourth Reich (George W. Bush, “Three and a Half Superpowers to Rule the World,” Life Magazine, March 29, 1968, pg.81). A book has been written by Edwin Hartrich, The Fourth and Richest Reich; N.Y.: MacMillan, 1980. This Fourth Reich will reach its full power within the framework of a union of nations presently known as the European Union (EU). In current time, Germany sells Leopard Tanks to neighbouring nation, Netherlands. On the other hand, the United States had named one of its airplanes the “Eagle Fighter” after its symbol (See Encyclopedia of Aviation by Scribner’s pg. 63). Now the German Leopard Tank has become the world’s foremost war tank and is the number one sophisticated tank used in the armies of NATO. Germany fits all the clues given to us about the leopard.

THE TEN HORNED BEAST

Daniel 7 clearly signify the last beast. But what to do these “horns” represent? Daniel 7: 23-27 tells us the full text. Another picture of this ten nation union is given in Revelation 17:12-14, which was written 700 years after the book of Daniel. Daniel 7:23-24 reveals that the kingdom of the ten horns will be the last kingdom upon the face of the earth prior to the establishment of the kingdom of God by Jesus Christ. This prophesied ten-nation union will emerge out of a re-born Holy Roman Empire. The Holy Roman Empire first came into being on December 25, 800 AD, when Pope Leo III placed a crown on the head of the German King Charlemagne, saying, “I hereby crown you emperor of the Holy Roman Empire.” The Holy Romen Empire is being reborn right now.

The European Union’s first coin bore the future of Charlemagne. The prize awarded anually by the European Union to the person that has contributed most toward European unification that year is called the Charlemagne Prize. The page in the Economist Magazine devoted to the latest developments toward European unification is called Charlemagne. The building where nations go to negotiate entrance into the EU is called the Charlemagne Building. The leaders of Europe know exactly what they are doing. They know they are rebuilding the empire of Charlemagne – the Holy Roman Empire! In these prophecies we are given a very detailed description of the last world power that shall reign over the peoples of the earth immediately before the return of Jesus Christ.

US BLACK PRESIDENT AND AMERICA THIS DAY

US Pres. Barack Obama Hussien said the new administrative policy was drawn to bring the brutal war to a successful conclusion. The savage war which frequent was branded as Bush’s War has now turn out to be Obama’s Battle. The deliberation of war strategy earned extol and strictures from staunch supporters and opponents alike. Supporters applauded Obama for taking a heedful time to do in-depth study of the circumstances before executing any decisive decision. On the contrary, adversaries, mostly Republicans, slammed him for the delayed action. US then Vice-Pres. Dick Cheney said Obama was dithering and too greenhorned to execute a swift decision. There are three main agendas that are vital to the re-election of the president in 2012 AD. In the domestic trend, mending the torn-apart economy thereby creating umpteenth incentive jobs, and passing a healthcare reform bill is extremely decisive. In the international front, winning the barbaric war in Afghanistan is a supreme significance.

The U.S. economy is the worst since the Great Depression with sky-rocketting unemployment rate. The public bolster support for the war is waning. A new survey gathered by the Gallup Poll disclosed merely 35% of Americans now approve of Obama’s handling of the war, and 55 percent disapprove vehemently. A firm Afghan government and military might is essential to winning the tough minds & hearts of the general public who could help assist them in their struggle against al-Qaida and the radical Taliban insurgents. The battle has dragged on for eight long years now since 2001, and it will take years to reconstruct the unstable country. The success of the new strategy and winning war is very crucial for Obama’s administrative clout, so to speak.

Christianity Engraved In Stone

The Founding Fathers’ words and deeds testify to their reliance on God and Biblical Principles when establishing the national government. But it didn’t end there. God’s influence was still present when the seat of federal government moved to Washington D.C. in 1800. References to America’s Christian history and values are graven in stone in the nation’s monuments and government building.

The Supreme Court

Near the top of the mansion is a row of the world’s prominent lawgivers. Each one is facing the image of Prophet Moses holding two tablets. The Ten Commandments are engraved on the lower portion of the huge oak doors of the courtroom and are displayed on the wall above where the Justices sit. The lower portion of the doors of the Supreme Court are engraved with a symbolic depiction of the Ten Commandments. The friezes which adorn the north and south walls of the courtroom include eighteen great lawgivers one of which is Prophet Moses holding a tablet with commandments VI -X in Hebrew.

The Washington Monument

At 555 ft. in altitude, it is the highest building in Washington D.C. and honours God with the Latin words Laus Deo, “Praise be to God” engraved on the east side of the capstone. Inside the monument is carved “Holiness to the Lord,” “Search the Scriptures,” “In God We Trust,” “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Scattered throughtout the 898 steps and 50 landings are additional references to Christian prayers and scriptures including Proverbs 10:7, Proverbs 22:6, and Luke 18:16.

The Lincoln Memorial

On the south wall is The Gettysburg Addresswhich ends, “that this nation under God, shall have a new birth of freedom – and that government of the people, by the people, and for the people shall not perish from the earth.

The Jefferson Memorial

From Jefferson’s “Query XVIII Notes” on the state of Virginia in 1781, “God who gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the gift of God?”

The Capitol Building

From 1795 until after the Civil War, Congress authorized weekly church services to be held in the U.S. Capitol Building. John Quincy Adams & Thomas Jefferson regularly attended as did subsequent presidents, senators, and representatives. “In God We Trust,” our national motto, is inscribed in gold letters behind the speaker’s rostrum in the House Chambers and above the Senate main door. There are eight large paintings in the Rotunda which reflect the Christian history including, “The Baptism of Pocahontas,” and “Departure of Pilgrims” which depicts the Pilgrims observing a day of prayer and fasting. William Brewster is holding an open Bible upon which is written, “The New Testament of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” “God with Us” is written atop the ship’s sail.

This is only a small sampling that clearly evidences the Founding Fathers openly acknowledged God and their reliance on Him. Would the framers and early leaders recognize this nation today? Would they be shocked to learn:

- that the current president boldly stated a few months ago, “We do not consider ourselves a CHRISTIAN NATION, …” (President Barack Obama Hussien’s speech in Ankara, Turkey, April 2009)

- that neither prayer nor The Ten Commandments are allowed in our public schools much less in our state and federal government;

- that the Indiana Speaker of the House was enjoyed by a federal judge from praying in the name of Jesus, but prayer in Allah’s name was acceptable;

- that currently there are at least three pending federal lawsuits aimed to force every state and the federal government to recognize and legalize gay marriage;

- that abortion on demand is considered a Constitutional right even for minors without parental consent;

- that taxpayer’s money is used to fund pornography.

Clearly, these circumstances invite the question, “How did this nation (USA) drift so far off course?”

We’ve heard these words often enough in recent days but as an excuse for our leaders to enslave Americans with new regulations that erode our liberties, nationalize our banks and businesses, and move America to a one world government. Why not use this same mantra to revive God’s original intent for America? Christians have duty to act and speak against unrighteousness, especially in times of great national crisis. In the words of President Ronald Reagan , “If we ever forget that we are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under,” It’s not too late to get involved. God has given His blueprints and marching order for sparing America. Is it time for another revolution?

WHO WERE THE FOUNDING FATHERS OF USA?

Of the fifty-six men who signed the Declaration of Independence, nearly half held seminary degrees. The five men who comprised the drafting committee and the first one to sign it clearly relied on their Christian values for direction in their mission as did other Statesmen who rallied the call for freedom. A brief sampling of their personal declarations provides convincing evidence of their Christian beliefs.

“In circumstances as dark as these, it becomes us, as Men and Christians, to reflect that whilst every prudent measure should be taken to ward off the impending judgments, … at the same time all confidence must be withheld from the means we use; and reposed only on that God rules in the armies of Heaven, and without His whole blessing, the best human counsels are but foolishness.” “Resistance to tyranny becomes the Christian and social duty of each individual…continue steadfast and, with a proper sense of your dependence on God, nobly defend those rights which heaven gave, and no man ought to take from it. THE CONSTITUTION CONVENTION OF 1787

The Declaration was followed by the Articles of Confederation, the governing body of law during the Revolution. But, it soon become evident that the Articles also were insufficient to address the nation’s needs in time of peace and for a closer union of the states. The Founding Fathers took on the assignment of yet another governing document to better serve the nation’s citizens, and once again, their Christian beliefs were evident in their labours. Benjamin Franklin proposed that the Constitutional Convention of 1787 begin each day with prayer. James Madison proposed a plan inspired by scripture to divide the federal government into three branches: Judicial, Legislative, and Executive as set forth in Isaiah 33:22: which he read to those present. “For Lord is our Judge, the Lord is our Lawgiver, the Lord is our King; He will save us.”

Shortly after George Washington was chosen as the first president, he appointed John Jay was clear in his belief that God was not to be kept out of government by the fictitious “wall of separation” when he said, “Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.”

WORLD DICTATOR COMES OUT OF THIS TEN-NATION FEDERATION

The origin of the future world leaders, the Anti-Christ, is plainly given in Daniel 7:8. The world dictator is definitely going to rise up among a ten-nation union. He is symbolized in this verse as the little horn with a mouth speaking great things. We are told in verses 21 and 22 that this little horn “made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; Until the Ancient of days came.” The world dictator or totalitarian, commonly known as the Antichrist, will rule until JESUS CHRIST Himself, who is the Ancient of days, comes back to the earth.

THE ANTI-CHRIST WILL RULE THE WORLD

Read yourselves Daniel 4:23. There’ve been five empires that have ruled the world since the time of Daniel: Babylon, Media-Persia, Greece, the Roman Empire, and the Holy Roman Empire respectively. The kingdom of the Antichrist will be a continuation of the Holy Roman Empire. During the reign of the Antichrist, the real Christ, Jesus, will return to earth. He will establish the final world government, and He shall reign forever. His realm is described throughout the scriptures as the coming kingdom of God. Daniel 7:27 talks about His kingdom.

GOD’S WORD DOESN’T MISS

The prophecy of Daniel 7 is a clear picture of Great Britain, the United States, Russia, Germany, and the ten-nation union the world powers which the Bible predicts will exist at the time of the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. The correlation of this prophecy to actual current events is too intricate and complex to be accidental or coincidental. In His divine providence, Almighty God, more than 2,500 years ago, foretold that the nations of Great Britain, the United States, Russia, Germany, and the ten-horned kingdom would be the nations in existence (entity) on the earth when Christ returns! Every event predicted so far has come to pass precisely as God said that it would. To see with your own naked-eyes, the nations predicted in the Holy Writ (Bible), living together simultaneously, is an incredible prophetic fulfillment! Jesus taught us that “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35). If in this world anything is sure, it is that every prophecy shall be fulfilled, even the smallest detail! It is unbelievable to know that we live in the time of the fulfillment of a great percentageof the Bible’s prophecies and of the return of Jesus Christ to the earth planet!

6th Trumpet Watch:

(Pentagon eyes accelerated “Bunker Buster” bomb)
The Pentagon is seeking to speed deployment of an ultra-large “bunker-buster” atomic bomb on the most advanced and sophisticated US Bomber as soon as July 2010 AD. The non-nuclear, 30,000-pound Massive Ordnance Penetrator, or MOP, which is still being tested, is super-designed to destroy deeply buried bunkers beyond the reach of existing bombs. The precision-guided weapon would become the biggest conventional bomb the United States has ever used.

THE HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE WATCH

Merkel and Sarkozy in Joint Call for ‘Strong Europe’

Chancellor Angela Merkel and President Nicolas Sarkozy have made a joint call on Europeans to head to the polls in the name of a ’strong Europe”. They have reaffirmed their opposition to an “unlimited enlargement” of the EU, as well as their strong backing for the bloc’s Lisbon Treaty. “Europe must play a leading role in the world. For that, it must have efficient institutions,” they said.

MIDDLE EAST WATCH

Iraq suffer as the Euphrates River dwindles

The Euphrates is scantily drying up. Strangled by the water policies of Iraq’s neighbours, Turkey and Syria; a two-year drought; and years of misuse by Iraq and its farmers, the river is quite a bit smaller than it was just a few years ago. The shrinking of the Euphrates, the river that the Book of Revelation prophesies will dry up in the End Times, has decimated farms along its banks and has left fishermen impoverished.
