11 January 2010 No Comment

Dr. Conrad Murray Los Angeles, Jan 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The pop singer Michael Jackson died in the summer last year from drug overdose that was administered by his personal physician. After the autopsy a complete investigation was done and now the police are saying that there is a chance that the doctor might get charged with negligence in treating Jackson, which led to his demise. He injected the singer with some drugs, which resulted in his death as some of the investigators assumed. The doctor admitted during the investigation that he injected Michael Jackson with propofol, a powerful sedative. It is not banned and used in hospitals. The doctor however, said that he injected the drug only after being asked by his patient to do so. His lawyer has not made any statement.

Dr Conrad Murray is Michael Jackson’s personal physician who provided him with the anesthetic propofol that the coroner’s officials say killed the pop singer, has remained the main focus in the investigation. However on his part Conrad Murray has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and insists he gave then-appropriate medical aid when he found Jackson distressed and not breathing on June 25. His attorney has stressed that Murray is fully cooperating with authorities.

After the autopsy was performed on Michael Jackson then the Los Angeles County coroner’s office determined that Jackson died from “acute propofol intoxication” combined with sedatives and labeled his death a homicide. And Jackson’s physician Dr Conrad Murray prescribed these medications to him. So on account of this, Murray was the main focus of the investigation.
