Northeast Christians celebrated Christmas in Delhi

New Delhi, December 25, 2009: Christians from all over the states in Northeast India celebrated Christmas in the capital city of India. The youngest denomination of all is the Manipur Evangelical Lutheran Church, Delhi which was established in March 1, 2009 joints this auspicious occasion for the first time. MELC Delhi numbering merely around 100 members celebrated Christmas  in NTBC Delhi Chapel which is in Munirka. The program starts at 12 noon and over at around 9.30PM in the evening. They collect offerings mainly for the orphans and held a special thanksgiving for the past whole year. After having a grant feast, a memorable get together followed which the members will not forget in thier life.
